Jammin’Juan: discover jazz in Juan-les-Pins on 29 and 30 October
Do you enjoy concerts but tend to choose artists you already know? I suggest keeping an afternoon for Jammin’Juan. On 29 and 30 October 2026, groups follow one another at the Palais des Congrès Antipolis in Juan-les-Pins. Come to hear several bands, or book just one of the 9 pm concerts for an evening as a couple or with friends.
In the afternoon, listen to musicians you have not yet discovered
Jammin’Juan is a professional jazz market that also opens parts of its programme to the public. Showcases introduce groups: choose this format if discovering musicians matters as much to you as the concert itself.
On Thursday, the music starts at 2 pm with the acoustic duo Jennings / Perchaud; Awa Ly is scheduled for 5.35 pm. Friday begins with Crozphonics at 2 pm and includes the Johan Dupont Trio at 5.35 pm. Look through the sequence of acts to choose your afternoon, rather than coming for just one name.
I recommend listening to a few samples beforehand, then leaving room for a group you do not know. You will have one performance to look forward to and the chance to leave with a discovery. Choose access to the showcases separately from evening concert tickets through the official website.
SETENTA on Thursday, INK on Friday
On Thursday 29 October, SETENTA plays in the amphitheatre at 9 pm. On Friday the 30th, INK takes over at the same time. If you only want to devote one evening to Jammin’Juan, let the music guide your choice. The groups' introductions say more than a long list of genre labels.
Then book the ticket for your chosen evening. You can arrange dinner before the concert without spending the whole day there. If you come for the showcases and want to stay into the evening, check that you also have admission to the concert.
A reason to return to Juan-les-Pins after summer
This October event takes place at the Palais des Congrès Antipolis and is separate from the summer Jazz à Juan festival. Use that venue to plan your arrival, then check the programme and ticketing before arranging the rest of your day.
For a stay of a few days, I suggest putting Jammin’Juan after a fairly quiet day. The next day could be for the Picasso Museum and Antibes' ramparts, or simply lunch at home. Evenings out can set the rhythm of autumn on the Riviera too.
